Copper Knight has been putting up big speed figures of late, including last time out at Catterick which is a list topper for today’s contest and shows that he is clearly in good form at the moment. It favours to side with sprinters in form…

Though any of the newcomers could be well above average, Eve Johnson Houghton’s Garrison Commander sets a decent standard on the effort from the debut at Salisbury and with improvement likely looks overpriced at the morning price of 5/1.

Chris Wall has won this race twice from three runners over the last ten seasons for a level profit of £21.00. He saddles two today but the best chance looks to be Syrian Pearl and looks cracking value at the price of 8/1 to continue the good record.

Tom Dascombe is in flying form at the moment with 7 winners in the last 10 days and we hope this good run continues as we strongly fancy his improving two year old Slowmo to continue his progress and continue winning ways by scoring…

Nottingham stages a interesting looking card this afternoon and the best bet on the card comes in the 5:10 contest where we fancy Roger Fells Dapper Man to get back to winning ways and should be backed at the 9/4 available with BetFair.

Simon Crisford has his string in good heart at the current time and How Far put up a really impressive time at Windsor last time out and galloped past the line to suggest the more testing track of Nottingham wont be a hindrance. Up 6lbs for that victory but looks the most likely winner once again.

Warren Greatrexs horses are always worth a second look when sent on the flat and its his vastly improving 5 year old Bailerico we fancy to continue winning ways and rack up his hat trick in the 8:50 contest from Nottingham this evening.

Nottingham stages a very interesting card for this Thursday afternoon and the stand out bet on the card looks to come in the 3:50 contest where we fancy the David O’Meara trained Muscika to score and should be backed at the 11/10 available with BetFair.

Nottingham is a very fair track with its long home straight and we are looking at the 4:40 contest for the best bet on the card and comes in the shape of the Rod Millman trained Spot Lite who should be backed at the 6/4 with BetFair to continue his winning ways.

The form of the Konchek maiden from Newmarket on the 6th May could be one of the best 2 year old formlines of the season to date, and therefore we are following the third that day – Barend Boy to break his duck in the opening race from Nottingham this afternoon.

Blissful Scolari should get a smooth passage to the turn and then open up on the back stretch to register his fourth victory at the track. Was very highly regarded a couple of years ago and if showing any of the old zest would prove to be far too good for this contest.

Tea for Tess was a winner of the BGBF puppy oaks at Romford last year and the drop back to sprinting trip could be the spark required to bring her back to that level of form. If running anywhere near her best she would have too much class for these and has never lacked early speed so could look over priced at the 3/1 currently available.
